Description and Services
Description (Service) Nurse practitioners providing women in the community who do not have a primary care provider to receive basic healthcare services including:  
 
* medical history questionaire 
* Well Woman exams, including Pap and breast examiniation 
* prescriptions for Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and birth control options 
* notification of any abnormal tests and appropriate referral if required 
* initial prenatal assessments and referrals 
*insertion of intrauterine devices such as Mirena and Nova T 
* ordering of mammograms or provision of number to register for the Ontario Breast Screening Program
Hours By appointment on the first and third Wed morning of each month
Areas Served Laurentian Hills ; Laurentian Valley ; Petawawa - and area ; Renfrew County - Military Dependents (regardless of where they live) and dependent family member of a current patient of the Petawawa Centennial Family Health Centre
Boundaries Town of Petawawa * Townships of Laurentian Valley and Laurentian Hills
