|Description (Service)||Responsible for all matters related to Canadian passports. Its responsibilities include issuing, revoking, withholding, recovering and providing instructions on the use of Canadian passports.
Visas are issued by the embassy of the country to be visited. For visa and travel information, visit travel.gc.ca.

|Application||Application forms can be obtained on the Passport Canada website, at any Passport Canada service location, and at any Canada Post outlet or Service Canada Centre.
Completing the passport application form electronically (typing the information in the form on your computer and then printing) is faster and easier and reduces the risk of errors that can slow down the application process.
