Description (Service) National organization dedicated to safety * leads in the national effort to reduce preventable deaths, injuries and economic loss in public and private situations throughout Canada 
 
Provides information as well as education and awareness in all aspects of Canadian life: in traffic, at home, at work and at leisure. 
 
Courses: Babysitting Training Course, Home Alone Course, Defensive Driving course * Professional Driver Improvement course * the 55 Alive Mature Driver course (specifically designed to help older drivers improve or review their driving skills) * Motorcycle Course, course on ATV, UTV and snowmobile. 
 
Online learning: Green Defensive Driving Courses, Motorcycle Safety * Occupational Health and Safety Courses: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), Fire Safety, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Workplace Violence and Harassment 
 
Public Awareness Campaigns: Annual campaigns reach millions of Canadians through the media and volunteer channels with vital preventive information on farm safety * summer safety * road safety * school safety * community safety and crime prevention * seniors' safety * home fire safety * safe driving
